Unlike some authors who knew they wanted to write early in life, my love of writing, which I discovered about a decade ago, proves that it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.
Each time I sit down at the keyboard, I’m as excited to find out what happens next as I hope my readers are. Often I don’t know what my characters resist going where I’d like to take them. I find joy connecting with these people, no longer imaginary to me. There are no “good” or “bad” people in this book, just stories about the wonders and foibles of humans. And I really get a kick talking about their adventures with my readers.
I love channeling stories from my characters. Now, they won’t stop talking! I’m currently working on a prequel, Irish Medicine.
